This is gonna sound really dumb – I didn’t know you could go past 90 degrees on a squat. Yup. Since that is not the case, it looks like it’s ok for your knees to go past your toes?
edit: Apparently all I ever ask about is squats. There are other exercises out there, right?

There are other exercises but if I had to stick with two it would be squats and pull ups.

Ahhh, yeah, barnye actually messaged me after the video went live and said I should make a note that your knees DO go past your toes, and the key then is to make sure your heels stay on the ground and you drive through them. I’m gonna make some annotations today.
And yeah, squats are awesome. Squats and pull ups 4eva.

as my old powerlifting mentor used to say to me “i dont care how good you look. i dont give a shit what you bench press, i dont give a fuck about your deadlift….HOW….MUCH….DO….YOU….SQUAT?!?” squats are one of the best exercises for your body. for maximum results ASS to GRASS. essentially try to sit on the back of your calves/heels while still keeping your heels on the floor. your knees will naturally push over your toes for anatomical reasons. THE REASON WE TELL PEOPLE DONT LET YOUR KNEES GO PAST YOUR TOES is tha tin most cases when the knees do pass over the toes it means there is too much weight put on the balls of your feet, meaning you are not working the muscles properly for the exercise.
if you dont have any real gym equipment there arent many exercises you can perform that really isolate any leg muscles. however holding squat positions are good for muscular endurance and sprinting are great for the legs
