View the post. Hey all. Probably the last new post for a while. Feel free to talk about it here, ask any questions you might have, whatever.

Hey man. I know I haven’t been posting much for a good while now, but I wasn’t about to let this one go. I’m sorry for how difficult this all is for you. You got hit by a lot of unfortunate stuff all at one time. But I just want to let you know that I love everything you’ve done here with the blog. You’ve been a huge inspiration for me since I found the site, and although I’m still struggling with trying to build and maintain a schedule for working out, I talk to everyone I run into about the blog and I’ve tried to encourage them all to start up a character. I don’t know if you’ll ever be able to make the blog into a living, but I don’t think you should take that personally. Shit’s hard. Getting your name out there isn’t easy. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try. If you have to take a break for a while, pull back from it all and re-evaluate, no one will blame you. But I don’t think there’s anyone here who wants to see you give up. If you have to start making everything shorter, less frequent, I’m pretty sure we’re all gonna stand by you. But if this is want you want to do, and what you’re passionate about, which we’ve all seen you are, then I hope you don’t call it quits after this setback. We’ll be here when you’re ready, Dan. And if you ever need help with anything, you know we’ll all be here to help.

Damn, this is what happens when I go out of town for the weekend. It breaks my heart to read this, though probably not as much as yours I’m sure. I wish we could have expanded the community more, and I know you tried to with presences on Facebooks, Twitter, Tumblr, and Reddit. My social media savvy stinks, as does my business acumen, so I’m sorry I couldn’t have helped there more. This site has lodged itself firmly into my brain since I first came across it 2.5 years ago. It has changed the way I think about exercise, nutrition, and sports. To be sure, I feel like it has made a positive impact in my life, and thank you for that. I feel that with what you’ve given us here, I will continue to grow stronger and to be more healthy.I know you worked as hard as you could for this site; everyone on here knows it and we support and respect the heck out of you for it. I’m sorry that you got his with that misfortune, I know it’s going to be scary until you guys can get back on your feet, and I hope you are able to find good work quickly.

I think I should probably stop rambling now. As Jerry said, we’re here for you, whatever it is, just call on us.

I completely support your decision. My Father always felt that family was the only real treasure. You’ve been a massive positive influence on my life. With your guidance, my life is better than it’s ever been, and my skills are better than ever. It was a bold decision to make this your full time job, and sometimes our big steps don’t work out. I am proud of you for having the courage to take the shot.Whether this is the end of us or not, I’ll carry these philosophies and methods the rest of my life and be better for it, and I know I’m not the only one.

Be well, tovarich.

Well Dan, I think another go may be possible but as others have mentioned, family comes first and foremost in the world. I hope things work out for you and of course I know people will continue to talk to you. All things considered I would rate the blog as success because it has helped a large amount of us. We are here always and forever and we will of course be waiting for things to happen one way or another.

I’m sorry to be so late with the reply, but I wanted to give my sympathies that things haven’t worked out in terms of income from the site and that such misfortune has hit your family. I hope that everything will come together for you, that things will turn around, that life will pleasantly surprise you even if it takes some time.

Thanks for all the words of support, guys. I honestly had to take a step back from everything for a week or so…it’s been kind of a roller coaster. It was really nice to come back to all kinds of great messages from you all. =) The thing that made me saddest about all of this wasn’t the fact that the business didn’t really succeed, it was that I was worried I was letting you all down. Thanks for helping clear those worries up a bit.

Haven’t found a job yet, but we’re not in dire straits or anything. Part of the reason I called it when I did is because I didn’t want to be completely up against the wall when it came to money so I have time to get something decent. I also think I’m going to start doing some hobby-ish game design stuff again, which I’m sure y’all will enjoy. As I said in the video I’ll still be hanging around (barring this past week of soul searching), so feel free to keep hanging around as well =D
